My line runs through James who married Ruth Kennedy and their child Polly and her husband Jesse W. Hopkins. I am just having a horrible time finding John L.'s parents!! I have been looking for his family line for about seven years now. He was actually born in 1782 as per his tombstone. He died August 25, 1845 but NEGHS doesnt have a record on him or his death. His daughter Susan Daniels Cheever died the year before him and she is in there but no record of John's death exists right now except for a Wellfleet newspaper obituary and his headstone. I need to go to Wellfleet, thats what I need to do. Thanks!
