Were you ever able to establish a connection between Samuel Chadwick and Ephriam and Ebenzer Chadwick? I can find nothing on his parents. The only Samuel I've been able to locate that comes close was born in 1719-20 in MA, but died there as well, not in Carteret Co., NC. Also, Samuel's son, Rueben b.abt.1740, had a daughter Sophia/Sophronia Chadwick b.abt. 1762. She married Francis Eslick b.abt. 1760. Francis is my 6th great- grandfather. This whole Chadwick line seem to be a bit of mystery. Any information you might have of them would be greatly appreciated.
