Both my Chadwick and Lewis relatives came from Carteret. I am very intersted in learn more about the Eslick line. I have data on the Samuel Eslike that liked in Ky, which I know many people have as a son of Sophronia Chadwick and Francis Eslick; however although it appears that the KY Samuel's father was also named Francis Eslick, that it was a different Francis Eslick as that Frances lived past 1830 and the Francis Eslick that married Sophronia died 1814 in Onslow Co., NC.
