    3. In the Register, January 1867, 20:61-65 is an article on the Peirce family by Ebenezer W. Peirce. He references the 3 June 1673 court appearance of Abraham jr and identifies children and spouses as: Abraham, born Plymouth, January 1638, married Hannah Glass of Duxbury, October 29, 1695, and he died in January, 1718, aged 80 years. (NEHGR 18:285 (Marriages At Scituate, Mass., Prior To 1700 - Abraham Pierce and Hannah Glass, of Duxbury, 29 Oct., 1695.) Later in the article Peirce states that Hannah must be the 2nd wife. Not sure why Anderson says possibly Hannah Glass unless he's hedging in case Glass was her previous husband's name. Ah...the Scituate VR says Pierce, Abraham and Hannah _______ of Marshfield, Oct 29, 1695. Rebecca, married _________ Willis, died March 30, 1724. (Mansfield Records) I have Bristol Co VRs but couldn't find a reference to her death. Mary, married ______ Baker. Alice, born in or about 1650, married ________ Baker, and she died in 1673, aged about 23 yrs. (Church records and Town Records) Isaac, born in 1661, married Alice ________, and he died in Middleborough, now Lakeville, Feb. 28, 1732, aged about 71 years. (Middleborough Town Records) (MD5:38 says d. 28 Feb 1731/2 in 71st year of age) It's not clear to me how Anderson gets from the 1673 PCR 5:116-17 to identifying the two Baker spouses as children of Francis and Isabel Baker. The third Baker sibling, Hannah, is identified in Francis Baker's will as Hannah Pearce (MD 31:107).
