    1. Re: [Barnstable Co MA] Joseph and Mary George, Provincetown, MA
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/0EB.2ACE/471.1 Message Board Post: I can't answer your question, but I can perhaps fill in a little. The 1880 census has Joseph and his family in Provincetown and his age is given as 46--that would be age at last birthday prior to 1 June 1880. Mary was 20. In the 1920 census Marion E. is with her husband Richard R. Jennings and her brother Charles is in the household. He is listed as age 23 and listed as born in MA. There's a birth record for him, May 14 1896 in New Bedford, Bristol County, MA. Virginia, who married William W. Francis Sep 30 1908 was 23 when she married and was b. St George, as was her father. So again this supports what you say about their movements. Marion married Nov 7, 1908, she was 18 and b. St George. Both were married in Provincetown and the clergyman in each case was William H. Allen. Since both were married by the same clergyman, there might possibly be some record for the parents at whatever church this man was associated with. Jessie was born Oct 30 1883 in Provincetown and there was a Mary b. Nov 25 1884 in Provincetown. There was a death for a Joseph in 1878, but I did not see the record so don't know if it's the first child named Joseph. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but perhaps there's something here you can use.
