Good morning, everyone. :-) Google Book Search, http://books.google.com/, is an excellent new resource. This is a new service and they are still working on getting bugs out and fixing problems with their digitization. They currently have over 100 of the books that were published containing the early vital records of Massachusetts to 1850. There are something like 300 of the books. I found that Medford is one of the worst that they have done. It has many pages that are only halt there. There are many books that have been cut off on the left. You can help when you find these problems. When you find one of these books, look for a link that says "More about this book." Usually it will be in the right column at the bottom of the box labeled Summary. Click the link. Then, at the bottom of the page, click the link that says, "Provide feedback." Do NOT bookmark this page. It is ONLY for this one book. Fill out the form, as necessary. You do not need to put the title of the book in the comments. This is being automatically provided by this form. Be sure to specify which pages have the problems and what the problem is. They don't know a problem exists unless someone tells them. Don't think that someone else will do the reporting. You can't be sure of that. Also, the more notices they get on each book will help them to priortize which books get repaired first.
