I believe my great-grandparents, Erkki and Anna Maria (Mehtala) Eilola, came to the U.S. from Finland and came to Sandwich to be with Herman and Jennie Toolas. Their second child, Ansel, was born in Buzzard Bay in 1904 and shortly after they moved to live in Virginia, MN. In Erkki's passenger records, Herman is listed as his brother-in-law. I am trying find out if Jennie may be Errki's or Anna's sister or whether they are related to Herman. In Herman's passenger records he is listed as coming to see his sister Maria Mehtala. Any help would be appreciated.
