A mid-December morning's greetings to all my Mendon cousins. I haven't seen a message on this list in many weeks. I have begun to wonder if I have died. If I have died, heaven is a lot like earth and the dog still needs to be walked at six a.m. every morning. I thought I would at least get to sleep later in heaven. Maybe it is only me that is not getting messages, but in case everyone is taking an early winter holiday, I'll ask a question just to get things going. One question on this list usually leads to a lot more messages. Sarah Taft, born Nov 2, 1727 in Mendon, married Peter Wheelock, born Jul 23, 1723 in Mendon, died Feb 18 18, 1802 in Mendon. My connection to Sarah and Peter is through their daughter Olive Wheelock, born Apr 12 1751, died Aug 10, 1834, who married Laban Bates and had a daughter named Sarah Bates. The question is: when and where did Sarah Taft die? I don't know. Does anyone else know? Frank Comstock
