Hi All, Well, this has got to be one of the more strange things that has happened to me in 2003. I joined the Mendon List probably over a year ago. More like 2 years ago. After having been on the list for awhile I stopped receiving messages. Whether I unsubscibed back then or just lost contact I can't remember. Not important. Then this morning after more than a year of silence....it starts up again as if nothing was different. Are you folks SURE that Mendon isn't part of the Bermuda Triangle or something? To be serious here....and it won't last long....I am in Chico California and I visited Mendon back in 2000. I came to do some research and meet my Hastings Relatives. My ancestor is Robert & Joanna Killey Hastings. I had such a great time that day. I wish I could return to renew the friendships I made that day. There that was the serious side of things. ;~) As for Heaven and dogs. I probably could cite the important Scriptural Reference "All Dogs go To Heaven" the movie. That right there should be Gospel enough for anyone. Or, just ask any neighborhood dog about it they will tell you. Of course be prepared for a tad bit of Canine Sarcasm about how they are continually having to extricate our Posteriors from trouble first. I also believe that when we do get there we will be obliged to have a SIT DOWN with our Guardian Angels so that they can have a bit of their own say so about what we put them through in our short (compared to eternity) stay in the Realm of Time.
