    2. Alice Palladini;
    3. Morning Listers, The site of the Old Cemetery Grave stones is great, However, checking it against a compilation of all Mendon Cemeteries,and death records available (17) and being edited at this time and soon will be available on a CD. Shows that there are others with monuments and many others buried in Old Cemetery in Mendon that are not included on the "Mendon's Old Cemetery" web site. Once again, please use this site as a tool only and always check other records before accepting only one record as fact. The new compiling of all Mendon cemeteries and death records was done , over the past several years for the Mendon Historical Society. It is now being edited as a few errors were discovered and the society would like the work to be as accurate as possible. (once again ..even this will only be a research tool) All cemeteries were walked and logged stone for stone, many older cemetery records were used , finding many that had stones in past years that are no longer there, or probably never had a stone.. The Town Hall death register books were extracted as were the Mendon Vital records, and other sources to make the new compiling of Mendon Death and cemetery records as accurate as possible. The CD will be in Windows ACCESS, and is easily searched by first or last name, cemetery, etc. Mendon Cemeteries (17) are: Old Cemetery Pine Hill Cem. George St. Cem Quaker/Friends Cem. Bicknell Cem.. Swandale Cem. Taft/ Lamoth Cem. Daniel's Cem. Locust / Davenport Cem. Gaskill Cem. Mowry (2 stones only) Pleasant St. Cem Thorton Cem. Wood Cem Cook Cem. (few Only) Freeman/Union Cem. Hartford Mills Cem. (this Cem. has never been able to be located) I can do a few look-ups as time allows.. as I am presently editing it with the help of another committee member Kay Holmes.. Hopefully by late fall this CD will be available for sale to the general public. Names only for orders are now being taken. Alice PS.. I will not profit from any sales of this CD. nor any other Committee member or member of the MHS The project is owned & copyrighted by the Mendon Historical Society and all proceeds from any sales will go directly to the MHS to defray cost of having the material compiled by "Genies Plus" of Milford. I am a volunteer only . being Chairman of the Com. and now correcting, adding and editing this much needed project for all Mendon cemeteries. Alice Pickering Palladini List MOM & 1st Vice Pres. of the MHS
