    1. [MA-MENDON] Fw: How post to mailing list?

    3. Fwd. for Donald. Donald just send a message to Ma-Mendon-L@rootsweb.com or reply to any list message. Alice I recently signed up as a member of the Mendon list. How do I post questions to this list? I have the following question:: Looking for information on my G-G-G-G Grandfather Thomas Albee. According to "Albee Family Book" published by Robert S. Albee in 1920 that I obtained from the NEHGS, Thomas Albee was born in Milford, MA on August 15, 1762, he went to live with John Claflin of Holliston, MA when 9 years old. On December 8, 1785 he married Olive Albee in Milford, MA and I believe this was certified by church records of Amariah Frost. I can trace Olive's lineage through Thomas Albee (born approximately 1718) and Jemima Thompson. However, I cannot locate any birth record or lineage for Thomas Albee born 1762. According to Adin Ballou's History of Milford, Thomas(1762) is mentioned as possibly an unrecorded son of Thomas(c.1718). However, this would mean that he married his sister in 1785! I would greatly appreciate a lookup of any records that may show Thomas's(1762) birth (it seems as though something existed that caused Robert Albee to provide a specific date in his 1920 book). ! Also, would there be any records from Amariah Frost's church that might clarify the situation? Thanks for any help you may be able to provide. Donald Albee (DAlbee9934@aol.com)
