>Morning All Listers, Wow, Jean what a find.. Did you have the info on that will or did you go searching?? I was told Mary DARLING might be a d/o an ETHAN. However I see in the list a Nathan Darling.. ayt above May's name.. Wonder if " Nathan" could be her father's name.. Worth looking into. Yes I had the 1850 census and that is the same family. The Mendon VR's has children born to Melitiah and Mary Knowlton.. including my Gr. Gre. Grand. Hannah Knowlton w/m David Sweet. Now Hannah's obit says she was born in Cumberland, R.I.. making me think the family may have moved there from Mendon, Ma. when the children were young. (so much for obits being right ,huh?) I think maybe Nathan Darlings may be worth looking into?? Bad handwriting someplace could have mistaken Nathan for Ethan?? I have the last child born in Mendon in 1832.
