I., Jan. 8, 1889; married, Mendon, Mass., Feb. 13, 1840, Mary Dexter Hall, b. Saylesville, (formerly Smithfield) R. I., Jan. 27, 1819; d. Providence, May 13, 1894, dau. of Benjamin and Sarah (Bates) Hall. Sarah Bates was dau. of Laban Bates, who served in the Revolution. This could be an error appearing in the Descendants of Comstock. Possibly the error has been continuing? I would go by the Bellingham records that claiim she is maiden name unidentified. Jes
