    3. Betty: I have been tracking Ben through his land holdings since he came to New England. He had land in Weymouth, 3 4 acre house lots, then "Waterfarm" in Braintree. He then aquired land in Medfield and lived at 3 locations there. Mendon was next with the Mill site and the house lot and the meadow grant. Swansea was his next conquest leaving his mendon holdings to son James. Today we would call him a "speculator" or "developer" Bob Albee ----- Original Message ----- From: "Betty Sullivan" <bettysul@kewanee.com> To: <MA-MENDON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 01, 2004 4:39 PM Subject: Re: [MA-MENDON] Albee > Dear Bob, > What all do you have on Benjamin? 3. Bob, That is very interesting. I have several other ancestral families who did that, notably BLOODS, later on, moving clear across the continent eventually. What is "water farm"? Is it on a river, or where did that name come from?
