    3. Sorry I can't help Frank on his search for a small town job, but will say that I also have Mendon Taft and Aldrich ancestors if Frank or anyone wants to speak of them. My Aldrich lines are George-Joseph-Samuel-Peter-Silvanus-Gardner. My Taft line is Robert-Benjamin-Samuel-Anna Colwell-Anna Aldrich, Gardner J. Aldrich; also Robert-Benjamin-Mijaman-Nathan-Mijaman-Amy Aldrich. 3. Hi Tom & All again, I am also Aldrich related.. but not Taft.. Although I do belong to both Family Associations.. I must say you descend from 2 of the most researched families in Mendon, along with the Thayer's of course. :) . However on both lines there is much written on and many genealogies are available for both lines. I descend from George Aldrich , 2 times, but many others get him as a progenitor 5 and 6 times. Sure cuts down the pedigree. :) I also moderate the NAA Aldrich List on Yahoo.com that has over 300 near 400 I think now and is a great list for Aldrich queries and replies. But we also do all Mendon and area names on this list including the Aldrich line. :) The Aldrich list also has slumps but is usually a pretty busy list but it is also a much bigger list. However we have about 70 on this list at present. Nice hearing from u Tom, anyone else care to join in with their area family names and queries ? Have a nice Day, Alice
