If you go to options, you should be able to say how long an e-mail can be. why don't you try that first, so we can all see yout up-date? Thanks, Betty Sullivan ------------------------ No, the problem isn't on my end. AOL sent the mail out just fine. If something is too long, they won't even let me paste it into the email. And the item ended up in my sent mail each time it went out. It also went out to individual persons just fine. The problem was definitely on the Rootsweb end. I have now sent it to the list 3 times (tried again yesterday) and it has never been posted to the list. I don't understand why they didn't bounce it back or notify Alice that they had something that wasn't going to be posted. Strange policy! I'm just guessing that it was the length because I can't think of any other possible reason. I'll be happy to continue sending it out to individuals who ask. I sent it to three people yesterday. Do you want a copy? Sue Susan M. Hillier Roe SueMHR@aol.com Seal Beach, CA A friend is one who comes in when the whole world has gone out. Anonymous
