I don't know, wonder if Joseph was a brother or relative to our progenitor, Edward Bosworth, b. abt 1580; d.1634 on board ship enroute to America. Alice Bosworth who m. 7Dec1627, in Cotgrave, Nottingham, Richard Hutchingson b. 1602/03. My source was The Hutchinsons of Salem, New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Vol. XXII Located at NSDAR, 1776 D Street NW, Washington, DC 20006-1595. I have the feeling that my Alice Bosworth is not of the same Bosworths. As far as the Hale line, mine goes back to Thomas Hale who d. 12Apr1730 in Rowley, MA. His father, also Thomas Hale, m. Mary Hutchinson d. of Richard Hutchinson, and Alice Bosworth.
