Hi all Mendonites, I've been away since Tuesday, and just now getting to the bulk of my mail. I had a Cook(e) mini reunion with Cousins from Pa, and NY visiting.. and last night a mini reunion dinner for 12 Cookies with Ma, CT. and R.I. Cuzs joining us. The 4th Annual Cook (e) reunion will be at the end of June. (All desc. of Walter Cook (e) who was a Founder of Mendon.) The last Cookie just left about 1/2 HOUR ago. I had mentioned going to Foster and Scituate R.I. researching. earlier in the week. I DID find my Gr.Gr. Gr, Grandparents stone, in Smithfield Cemetery in Scituate R.I. Hannah KNOWLTON and David F. SWEET. Hannah was born in Mendon. 2 Oct 1813, d/o Melatiah KNOWLTON & Mary?? I am stuck on Melatiah KNOWLTON who had all his children in Mendon, Ma. (VR) but who were his parents and where did he come from before he came to Mendon? Any have a last name for Mary??? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Alice
