    3. Isn't there a "Mayflower Families in Progress" published on Desire & John Gorham? Your Otis line. Is that the family that removed to NH? I don't have directs to that line, but think couple of Otis lines married into my Heard and Warren lines. Very interesting family. I see how we connect indirectly with our Foote line. Does your Cook line connect with our Walter? Thanks for sharing your connection with John Howland. 3. I do not know about the Mayflower Families in Progress publication. I am not familiar with it. Is it a series of publications on Mayflower families? I don't know if the Otis line removed to NH. I can check and let you know. As for Walter, yes. My father was a direct descendant through the male line of -- Walter, Nicholas, (Deacon) Nicholas, Caleb, Simeon, Simeon (Jr.), Wilton (from Simeon jr.'s 2nd mrg.), Fred (my father), and me. I have been working on my father's line for about 2 years now (member of the munchies since last year) and am putting together a biographical history of this male line only. No extended lines will be included as this will be more of a narrative of their lives than a genealogy; although, I have gathered much genealogical data. 3. While we're chatting about the Howland MF line, I'll give mine that comes through Mendon. John Howland Elizabeth Tilley Lydia Howland James Brown James Brown, Jr. Margaret Dennison Dorothy Brown Nathaniel Medbury Benjamin Medbury Elizabeth Darling Benjamin and Elizabeth were m. 8 Dec 1748 in Mendon. [Mendon VRs, p. 347. Benjamin's surname spelled Meadberrey in the record.] Benjamin was from Smithfield, and that's where he and Elizabeth lived and had children. Elizabeth's parents were Benjamin & Mehitable (White) Darling both born in Mendon and married there. Benjamin Darling's parents were Dennis & Hannah (Francis) Darling who came to Mendon from Braintree. Mehitable White's parents came from Boston. I haven't gone back any farther and don't yet know the parents of Dennis Darling (ca 1640-1717/8) or Thomas White (1665-?). Jim Bullock Littleton, CO My mother is a Medbery (the spelling used in her line since the 5th generation.) There are a number of Medberys buried at Little Neck Cemetery in Riverside (East Providence), RI, where Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland's gravestone is. (It's a newer stone. I don't know if the original was ever located.)
