Ladies and Gentleman... I am so excited. My last "roots" find was almost 3 years ago when I found Gr-Gram Miriam (POLLEY) REED CARPENTER'S parents, Porter & Elizabeth (KELLOGG)POLLEY in Lawrence, MA.in 1852. Since not too much activity here today, thought it would be okay to share this with you--any additional info would be greatly appreciated:.... Gr-Grandmother Mary Ellen DAY, b.ca1852, Augusta ME; d.03 Dec 1917, Woonsocket, RI;mar.07 Oct 1872, Augusta, ME, Charles Luke Bailey, b.1846, Albion, ME The following is my DAY line find of the day (pardon my pun): Alfred DAY, b.1830, Augusta;d.(?); mar. 08 Jan 1852, Augusta, Emeline J. TRASK George DAY, b.16 Jan 1801, Royalton, Windsor Cty, VT; d.14 Nov 1890, Augusta, ME; mar.1829, ME, Tabitha DAVIS; b. ?VT; d.14 Nov 1890, Augusta, ME Sylvester DAY, b.17 May 1770, Hebron, Tolland Cty, CT; d.?; mar. Rachael PARKHURST. Benjamin DAY, b.13 Sep 1731, Colchester, CT; d.26 Jan 1811, Royalton, VT; mar. 09 May 1764, Hebron CT, Eunice ROOD, bp.Lisbon CT, 23 Jun 1734. Benjamin DAY married Margaret FOOTE. This is all I have, to date. I was so excited just had to share. New lines to research: PARKHURST, and FOOTE. Have tried for over 9 years to find ancestry of Tabitha DAVIS, thinking maybe check further with Royalton, VT. Would any one have info on Robert DAY? Way, way back I was told my DAY line probably was from the Robert DAY line. I have to thank Rachel Duffalo for helping on the VT rootsweb site and Marilyn DAY shared some information back in 1995, but we were never able to connect. Alice I know we share a PARKHURST line, I was wondering if Rachel connects? thanks for bearing with me. Just think, if Gr-Grampa Charles & Gr-Gram MaryEllen Day Bailey hadn't removed from Augusta to Woonsocket, this "seedling" may never have developed-").
