Originally, when I did the research on the White family, I thought I was descended from Thomas. I was told that Sarah who m. Joseph Chilson was the daughter of John White. I was also told that my Beriah Chilson was her son. I have proven beyond a doubt that these two things are untrue and, therefore, that I am NOT a descendant of Thomas White. Consequently, I have, more or less, abandoned the White research -- except for Sarah's children who were step-siblings to my ancestor. I am still interested in them. The sources I used said that he WAS descended from the Fiddleford Whites -- apparently that is wrong too. I guess I better detach them from Thomas in my data base. We learn something new every day -- right? Sue
