Greetings from California! My lines are WHITE, BENSON & CUMMINGS. I am descended from Joseph White of Mendon through his son John. I have: John b. c. 1668; m. Sarah _______ John b. March 13, 1701/02 in Mendon m. Rachel Benson June 6, 1728 Ichabod b. Feb. 28, 1728/29 in Mendon m. Rebecca Cummings June 14, 1752 The weak link is John, son of Joseph. I do not have a record of his birth and it is possible he was not born in Mendon. I do not have the name of his wife. Their son, John, was listed as a Quaker, and I wonder if the parents were also Quakers. Can anyone help me with this? Ichabod and Rebecca, also Quakers, were married in Providence, R.I. and moved to Nine Partners, New York. The family then kept moving West. Mary White Limosner
