Alice, Can I sneak into the Cooke cousins...just discovered I have a line from Walter Cooke through his daughter Hannah who married James Albee at Medfield on 18 October 1671. Their son Benjamin Albee (don't have his birth record) had a daughter Abigal, born at Mendon on 15 March 1701 who married there on 18 July 1722 Richard Holbrook. Their son, Richard, born at Mendon on 7 February 1726/7, removed to Pownalborough (Wiscasset) Maine where he married on 15 October 1751 Sarah Young. Someplace I have an account of Richard and some of his Albee relatives who also removed to Pownalborough and got themselves involved in provoking some Indian hostilities. I do have the deed that proves Richard's removal from Mendon to Pownalborough if anyone else goes through this line. Also, the children of Richard and Sarah (Young) Holbrook claim ancestry through Henry Sampson of the Mayflower through Sarah's lines. Jan Delorey
