Morning to all, As cousin Alice mentioned - she and I have the same lines from Benjamin and Phebe (Scott) Pickering - on down. So part of my roots have been posted, right Alice? My other lines in the area begin with Benjamin and Phebe's daughter, my Great-Grandmother Phebe Emma Pickering who married Ezra PRATT. Ezra & Phebe were living in Albion, RI when Phebe died in 1894. Ezra's father Solomon and Jonathan resided in Mendon. Jonathan b.1773, Mansfield, MA, married Abigail PHILLIPS, b.1776. Abigail's parents were John Phillips, b.1750, possibly in Taunton, MA and Abigail Williams. Have tried for over 10 years to find the parents of John PHILLIPS. To date, not a clue. Included in my Pratt lines, are the Nicholas White, Philip King, William Macomber families. From one of my Aldrich lines - family name include: Ezra ALLEN, b. 1747; d.1813; mar. Lucy MANN, b.1749. Would anyone have any information on this Lucy Mann? I have her father as Oliver Mann, b. 1718, which is documented, but no dates on her death or the death of Oliver. Oliver married Mercy ARNOLD. No dates, to date, on Mercy's vital records, but do have documentation she is from the Thomas Arnold line that married into the Parkhurst family. Would anyone have information on Joseph WOODWARD who married Mary PRAY? Their daughter Mary married my Richard Arnold, b. 1667; died 1745. I have some shared information on the Arnold and Woodward families which I'll be happy to share if anyone connects. Just let me know. Last, but not least, my any means, : There's my George ALDRICH, b.1716, Mendon, MA; d.1797, Mendon; mar.Aug 1735, Smithfield RI. to #1 Mary MERIAM, b. 1717/18, Lynn, MA, date of death ca.1740/41, ?Mendon. Alison, Alice and Sue R have shared information on this family to document most of these dates. Their son Charles, b. 1738, Mendon(vr); d.1773, Mendon; married a Mercy/Marcy. Would anyone have a connection to this Charles ALDRICH's wife? We think Charles died suddenly. His father George did not die until 1797. One of Charles sons, Pardon, b. 1773, married 1796 Rachel Drake. Might anyone connect to a Drake line? Their other son, Ebenezer Aldrich, my direct line, married Tamar Allen in 1795, her parents being Ezra and Lucy (Mann) Allen. Well, I told cousin Alice I'd ask a few questions.
