ELizabeth (Pitts) Ballou, his widow, died March 16, 1841, in her 94th year. Abigail Cook died June 14, 1851, in her 84th year. The above is verbatim from the book. As you can see, the date of death for Abigail Cook is different from the one on the tombstone. Either Abigail is the daughter of a different Daniel, or the dates on the tombstone are wrong. I have not checked out the dates shown above, because it is not my direct line.
