Alice and Betty, I think that happens when you try to forward a message and maybe it does have something to do with the "plain text" setting rather than HTML setting in your email editor? Do you use Outlook Express Betty? I know that's happened to me before when I've tried to forward something and I changed my settings to plain text at Alice's request, although I change back to HTML when I write Alice privately. :) Anyway, I've found there's a lot to be desired with Outlook Express though I'm starting to get the hang of it. Hi Again, Thanks Barb for correcting my typo. :) Haste makes waste.. I also use Outlook Express.. only because it came with Win '98.. I find it lacking, at times also. and we are always wide open for viruses cause they all seem to go for Outlook Express. I use to use Eudora.. in my old computer.. Anyone know of a freebee e mail program that's better than Outlook?? I like to write off line and read my mail off line.. so I don't want an internet program, like Yahoo . I do have a mailbox there however, but seldom use it.. Anyone with any suggestions?? Alice
Eudora is still around and there is a free version. I gave up on Outlook quite a while ago myself and find Eudora works out just fine. http://www.eudora.com/ Don B At 06:42 PM 6/5/01 -0400, Alice Palladini; wrote: >Hi Again, >Thanks Barb for correcting my typo. :) Haste makes waste.. >I also use Outlook Express.. only because it came with Win '98.. > >I find it lacking, at times also. and we are always wide open for >viruses cause they all seem to go for Outlook Express. >I use to use Eudora.. in my old computer.. >Anyone know of a freebee e mail program that's better than Outlook?? >I like to write off line and read my mail off line.. so I don't >want an internet program, like Yahoo . Juno recently had an offer for JUNO PLATINUM where the first 250 hours are free and then it's $9.95/month. There also used to be a NETZERO outfit that was free for both e-mail and internet service. Can' think of any others beyond that. It might be worthwhile to check the above providers or just plain surf the internet for e-mail providers. Tom
