Perhaps a query on the Tilsons should not be included in this group, but I have just discovered a date on a very nicely done Dunbar homepage which messes up one of my early lines: Hannah Dunbar is said to be born 3 October 1715, died 7 May 1725. I have her living from the 31 May 1677 to 22 Sept 1715, and married to Edmond Tilson during this time (this is son of Ephraim, son of Edmond). How does Martha(2) Aldrich's husband tie into John's line? We know that John Dunbar knew the Aldriches and Thayers from his indenture period. Very few Tilsons were left in the RI census from Providence north by the 1790 census, but there seemed to be a gain in the Jillson name. This is not a phonetic problem but was this possibly a result of an early misreading that was not confirmed with the families involved? Karen Weiss
