    3. You're here, Sue. The list might be quiet because all of us east-coasters are still digging out. Just cleared my driveway and cars (no garage) today (Wednesday) and we had the first snow from this storm here in Maryland on Sunday night. My wife is a teacher; school has been closed Monday, Tuesday, and today so there was no where to go. We waited to clear the driveway and cars until after all the individual snow and ice storms had left their mess. It was much easier that way. All the ice was on top of the snow and I'm the only one on the street with an ice-free driveway. School is back in session tomorrow, we hope. Tuesday was to have been the first day at the new building for my wife's school which was destroyed by a tornado 20 months ago. Volunteers moved everything last week and over the weekend. Monday was a day off anyway, so Tuesday would have been opening day. I guess it will be Thursday now. Fifth graders always come back from a snow holiday hyped up and wanting to tell their "snow stories". My wife will be dealing with that and the excitement about a new school building. I doubt that much learning will be accomplished tomorrow. Again, you're here. Post something, please. You always have good information for us. 2. Sue, I am confused by your message. You talk about Jeffrey, the son of Jeffrey Champlin and Ulalia Garde. There are 3 different Jeffries. Jeffrey born 1621, Jeffrey born 1652 and Jeffrey born 1678. You mention Amey, the sister of Jeffrey. That would be the Jeffrey born 1672. He is not the one who married Hannah Hazard, according to my records. it was Jeffrey 1652 who married Hannah Hazard. Do your records disagree? The Amey Champlin who married Robert Hazard would be the sister of Jeffrey 1672, not the sister of Jeffrey 1651. Please let me know exactly what you meant, OK? Thanks so much for responding, Nan

In the Vital Records of Uxbridge to 1850, I find the following four births: OWNSLEY, Elizabeth, d. of Judson and Dolly, 6 Feb 1848. OWNSLEY, Josephine, d. of Judson and Dolly, 27 Oct 1846. OWNSLY, Elizabeth Bowers, d. of Willis A.R. and Harriet Newell, 7 Dec 1846. OWNSLY, Emma Wyman, d. of Willis A. R. and Harriet Newell, 6 Apr 1848. 3. Betty, I looked over your information. Allow me to make a correction. I noticed in your Gen. 3: " 11. MendonVR:179 Also, Abigail did die in Charlton as "THOMSON, Abagial, w[ife] of John3, Aug. 25, 1756". But, her husband, John3 also died in Charlton earlier that same year 27 Feb 1756. CharltonVR:262 The John THOMPSON who died in Mendon 18 Sep 1739 was the 24 year old son of Ebenezer and Dorothy (FAIRBANKS) THOMPSON, recorded as "Johon THOMPSON." 2. Hello; As some of you know I am totally blind and use a computer with a software program that allows me to hear what is going on on the screen. A friend on this list asked me to post the info where a demo of this software can be down loaded. The program is developed by Freedom Scientific in St. Petersburg FL. They also make screen magnification software and a scanning program with the ability to read a printed document. These programs can be down loaded at: www.freedomscientific.com Perhaps one of these programs can assist one of you or one of your friends in easier use of the computer.
