    2. Timothy A. Somers
    3. Alice, Our Warfield bible was presented to John and Lovina upon their marriage. It was passed down through my maternal grandmother Ullie May Kimball who married William Charles Moore Daunt. (lineage from William of Owlpen Manor-England through William of Tracton Abbey-Ireland) Ullie's parents were Fred William Kimball and Ida Francis Sherman. Fred's father Joseph married Amanda Maria Warfield. Teresa (Warfield) Wells sent me a scanned picture of Caleb and Ellen Warfield, should anyone be interested. John Sherman, a contractor/builder constructed a home on the old Uxbridge-Mendon road fairly close to the Thompson "Farm" after Margaret died and lived until his death with my mother's family (Wm. Daunt). In the 1960's my grandfather Daunt, after moving all around the country, purchased an old farm (circa 1790) on a lane off the same road where they spent the remaining years of their lives. Sorry, I can't remember the name of the lane, but it was the site of some of my best memories on summer vacations. When the Daunts returned to the area there was a newspaper article published interviewing William, because he was such a colorful character and the historic nature of the farm he bought. Ullie, his wife was cousin to the Thompsons and Browns and the Barons and our family was well aquainted within the community. Please email me directly should any of this be of interest. Best Regards, Tim

    3. I've been a "silent" member of the list for a time now, and thought I'd pass on this information from one of our inherited Bibles. I posted it at genweb some time ago, but would like to make sure it's circulated. I also have scans of xerox copies I sent to Teresa Wells. My own research isn't as advanced (or regressed) as much of the postings here, but with the attention and enthusiasm I find with this good group I've sure to fit the pieces together more easily. Birth, Death, Marriage pages of the Warfield family Bible from Mendon. It's difficult to read the old "script", but the information is as follows. The earliest entry is John (L. or C.) Warfield (4/8/1816-12/11/1896). He was married to Lovina Henry(s?) (?-d.12/11/1890). Under Births: Caleb (H/W?) Warfield - 10/12/1842. Almira(?) Warfield - 5/14/1844. Daniel Warfield - 4/4/1846. Under Marriages: Caleb Henry Warfield to Nellie Cobleigh. Amanda M. Warfield (b.4/4/1846-) to Joseph Kimball (may have also married John Taft, unclear). Elvia(?) Warfield to Charlie Batten(?). She is sending it to her son to fix, so will be a while.. She asked me to tell the list members, this is the reason she has been quiet of late, not only on the Mendon list, but all other list also. If anyone is awaiting a reply from her, this is the reason she has not replied, she'll get back to you ll when she's up and running again. . She sends her Hello's to all. and said "she shall return" :) Alice

    2. Alice Palladini;
    3. Hi David and all Listers, David there are no children born to this couple in the Bellingham VR'S. I have the History of Richmond N.H. and on pg. 258, they have Anaias and Mary Randall. and list children with dates. I see no marriage or birth for Ananias in Bellingham. H of R says married 27 June 1774. Their first child was born 1775. The norm in this History is that when a person removed to Richmond with children the children are listed, if known but no dates are given,, In this excerpt, dates and some marriages for the children are given.. Leads me to believe all children were born in Richmond, NH. Mary Randall according to this book was born in Smithfield, R.I. before her father settled in Richmond. and her father went to Rich. in 1763.. I can send you what the H of R has. I am having keyboard problems and will purchase a new one tomorrow hopefully. However I will type it up if you want it.. About that Mendon VR page. My apologies Please send the pages needed and your address privately and I will also try and copy and send to you tomorrow. Hope this helps a little.
