Trudeau, 80, of 102 Vista Lane, a retired salesman, died Thursday in Harrington Memorial Hospital after an illness. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Gwendolyn H. (Pritchard) Trudeau; two sons, Frank L. Trudeau Jr. of Montrose, Colo. and Thomas P. Trudeau of Westfield; two daughters, Gwendy Trudeau-Granata of Stratford, Conn. and Barbara Friedman of Cape Coral, Fla.; three sisters, Dorothy Spencer of Belchertown, Virginia Garcia of Springfield and Marguerite Morgan of Dayton, Nev.; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A daughter, Betsy St. Clair of Somers, Conn., died in 1977. He was born in Worcester, son of Frank L. and Aldea (Cedras) Trudeau, and lived here 11 years. He previously lived 32 years in Somers, Conn. He was a salesman for many years for Lifeglo Co. in East Longmeadow before he retired. Mr. Trudeau was a charter member and past president of the Somers Lions Club. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the Asian-Pacific theater. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in West Cemetery, Somers, Conn. There are no calling hours.
