My cousin & I are hot on the trail of an ancestor and I need a lookup in the 1920 Mass census (or even directory would be better than nothing. I am in CA & my local LDS library does not have the Soundex films, and I fear I shall have to really search for this lady. Would SKS please look up the family of Patrick & Nora LANE in Mass? This is what we have conjectured: Nora MADDICKS or ROBERTS was born in Newfoundland (maybe NS?) around 1880 to 1885. Her brother, Clarence Roberts, came to MA in 1901. We think she married Patrick LANE around 1906. One of her children was Nellie (probably Helen Lane), born around 1910. Thank you so much for this lookup. Candi in CA--hot as blazes these days!
