Greetings: Would like some kind person with access to the 1855 MA census please check for an Andrew Kennedy ( approximate age 16-18) possibly in area of Whitinsville, Northbridge, Upton and Hopkinton, Worcester Co. (He may possibly be living with a William Kennedy and family.) My greatest roadblock has been finding information on when and where my ancestor, Andrew Kennedy, arrived in the United States. I originally thought he arrived between Sep 1858 and Aug 1859. At this time he ( about age 20) would have arrived with wife Sarah and son (David, age one year or younger). Have not been able to find any of them arriving in this time period. He and family and possibly brothers seem to have gone back and forth across the pond. ( Married in County Down Ireland in June of 1856. First son born Sept 1858 in County Down. Second son born in Smithfield, Providence RI Aug 1859. Third son born in County Down in July 1861. There is even a possibility of a later trip after 1864.) I cannot find any records of these arrivals on passenger lists. (It is definitely the same Andrew for all these birth dates and events). Now I find another possible trip. He said (1900 census) that he arrived in 1854 (age about 16-18). If he did arrive in 1854, I would like to find out where he lived, and with whom, as shown by the 1855 census. If he did arrive back in 1854, then I need to check for naturalization papers earlier than I have been doing; and maybe in a different county or state. Thanks for any help. P.S.
