    3. Judy, do you know when your grandfather was born in Chicago? I live in a Chicago suburb. Within the next few weeks I will either be at my local LDS or a library about 30 minutes from my house - both have microfilmed Chicago directories. If you can wait a few weeks, I can look him up if you have an idea of when he lived in Chicago. Otherwise, you can order Chicago directories from an LDS Family History center near you. In that case I can send you the film numbers - let me know if you are interested. Drectories are how I found some of my more elusive ancestors.
