I am trying to find out what my ancestor put down for place of birth for his parents. Just prior to 1920 he and my gggrandfather began visiting each other and obviously became close later in life. My gggrandfather had always put down on census'that his parents were born in Ireland. His brother up always put they were born in NY. I have had no luck finding the parents. NOTHING...NADA. I would like to see if Thomas Lyman Gray wrote that his parents were born in Ireland in the 1920 census hoping that finally I might have agreement from both about the birth of their parents. Thomas Lyman Gray born in Troy, NY. 1848 residing in Webster in 1920. Thank you so much in advance for any help I can get. Patti
