    3. Hi Charlene, I couldn't find anyone listed in Massachusetts 1900 Census index with the surname and variations of HAVILL/HAVEL/HAVIL/HAVAL. Unfortunately I don't have access to the 1910. Sorry. Other children:  Unknown I found "Percy Havill" (38 yrs.), "Mrs. Percy Havill" (37 yrs.) and "E.M." (11 yrs. old) in an Ellis Island records dated November, 1905 indicating destination in U.S. as "Boston, Mass."  All were U.S. citizens. Percy may have been an "exporter" and/or 'cutter'.     3. Looking for any information on Manuel J. Mello. Born June 17, 1879. He had 2 brothers named Joao Mello and Victorino Mello. He came to Mass as a young boy. Became US citizen or resident, i believe in 1900. He was married in Massachussets, had a son named victorino mello (I believe). Abandoned his wife and son.
