Thanks for the responses on how to find them. 20 Annie Stewarts? gee, I knew there were 2 but didn't realize there were that many? I suppose that if I ask a library in Salem or thereabouts to copy the pages of the directory for me that they would do this? I know we wouldn't have it here in our library, not in Florida. The Annie Stewart I am looking for would have been 35 or so in 1900 as she was born about 1865 and she had a daughter, Margaret Cecelia Stewart with her. Could that pare down the 20 to maybe 1 or two? Thanks for the responses. Margaret There is only one other alternative to getting older, and I'm not ready for that yet. I'm too busy diggin my roots and searching for more limbs to my tree. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
That information doesn't really help as it would still require someone to look at every single entry until she is found. You might want to check the Salem city directory but remember that none of the Annie Stewarts listed in Mass. were in Salem in 1900. They may have been missed in the index or maybe she wasn't head of household at the time. Sorry I don't have better news for you.
