'Evening. Perhaps if the above census was searched I might learn something of my Uncle Matti Ojala. Born 03/08/1897 in Haapajarvi, Finland, he arrived in Am. 1914. Came to Lanesville (Rockport) area. In Finland his name was Matias Tormala but on Passport and in U.S. he used Matti Ojala. It was reported that he "wandered about" Lanesville and Maynard (Middlesex Co.) MA. (Certainly not a success story!) Records in Finland only tell us he died unmarried in Am. 1925. For some reason I am not comfortable with that date....but have nothing else to go on. Finland cannot seem to advise which Am. state the notice of death originated from. He was of a family of eleven upstanding sons and daughters. I am most eager to learn where/when/how he died. I would like to know where he is buried; that I might show recognition and perhaps erect a stone. Many thanks for anything you might learn. Raynold Brooks (Maine)
