Hi Peg, I agree with you , I have requested census look-ups in Bristol County a couple times over the last few months and have never received one response, so I gave up. I still am subscribed because there never is alot of mail to be bothersome, I am hoping someday it will be active......... I was beginning to wonder if this list is active. Can anyone tell me if they have gotten a response to their queries? Thanks so much. Perhaps the requests that aren't getting replies are for years or counties that no one has CDROM access to. For example, I requested a 1920 census lookup and I wasn't surprised that I did not get a response, since there aren't any indexed CDROM census products for MA for 1920 that I am aware of. While I suppose that its possible that someone out there has the time and the inclination to do manual lookups in the microfilmed records, I rather doubt it. > -----Original Message----- > From: Jim Zellers [mailto:zelmo@mediaone.net] > Sent: Sunday, March 04, 2001 8:56 PM > To: MA-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: RE: [MA-CENSUS] Does anyone respond to this list > > > Hi Peg, I agree with you , I have requested census look-ups in Bristol > County a couple times over the last few months and have never received one > response, so I gave up.
