Could someone look into the Mass census infor for my gr-grandfather John Edward (or Edward John) WHALEN, married to Mary Katherine(or just Katherine) DOB Mar 1847. I find him in the 1900 census for New Bedford (Supervisor's Dist 115, Enum. Dist 174, Sheet 23. Bristol Co) but have not had time to check other years. He lists his DOB as Aug. 1841. Entered USA 1866. Census says he was naturalized but no records have been found to support that. Could you check your data base for port of entry? I saw the wonderful help offered for the Patrick HICKEY lookup and was hoping for a similar miracle. Thanks for any help you can off. Carol Phelan, Tucson, AZ
