I too saw the results for the Hickey lookup and am hopeful. I have wanted to locate the immigrant ship logs for some of my family. I have John Joseph Mc Carthy, b. Cork, Ireland and wife Johanna O'Connor Mc Carthy b. Dowlais, Wales, leaving south Wales (maybe Cardiff?) for Boston, Mass in 1888 with baby daughter, Hanora. Brother Timothy Mc Carthy, b. Cork, Ireland and wife Margaret Ryan born in Dowlais, Wales came as well. Johanna's parents, John & Margaret O'Connor along with several siblings and O'Donovans came from Merthr Tydfil, Wales as well, either in 1888 or in 1910---Wales to Boston.
