Is there such a book that would have dates of marriage. I have written to Boston, Mass requesting a copy of certificate and they don't have any record of what I am looking for. Here is what I am in search of I have found my Great Grandparents (BATES, Thomas and Maud) in the 1910 Census and it states that they were married for 1 1/2 years, so my guess would be married about 1908 ish. They were living in Massachusetts • Plymouth • Pembroke • ED# 1231 . Where else might I look for a marriage certificate? They also at this point had a daughter that was age 4. I am assuming she was born out of wedlock. I have tried unsuccessfully to get a birth certificate for her also. But I have been able to get certificate of death which states birthplace was Boston. Where else can I possible find a certificate for her also. They did have another child in 1909 (my Grandfather) and I was able to get a birth record for him, he was born in Pembroke Mass., Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
