Hi Charles Thank you for your quick response on the above request. Bernard was my grandfather, Anna my mother and all the dates are correct. I lived with my grandparents for a while when I was growing up. Bernard's parents were James and Margaret FITZGERALD Keefe. James was born on 8 June 1817 in Harbour Grace Newfoundland. He (M) Margaret Fitzgerald on 17 January 1849 in Mosquito ( a section of Harbour Grace), I have a copy of the newspaper clipping. I do not have a date of birth on Margaret or who her parents were. I thought if they had been in the census I might find at least her age and date of birth. They had six children, Bernard,Maria Agnes, Charles Francis,Agnes,Edward and Anastasia but all their records were destroyed in a church fire. My wife and I went to NFLD several years ago to research Margaret but no luck. After the (M) date there is no sign of them in NFLD so I am sure they went to Boston.
