Lynn: Thanks for the information. It's wonderful to get so much help with a line that has been very difficult to research. The city directory information was a great help, now I can narrow down when William Bickford sold the farm in Maine and moved to Massachusetts. This will make the finding of the farm deed much easier. William Littlefield could have been Augusta's relative by marriage or even a step-son, considering her husband Jonathan Littlefield was much older than her (Jonathan had three children with his first wife about Augusta's age but I can't recall their names at the moment). Augusta's maiden name was Bickford. I wish I could find out what Maud's maiden name was. Maud was born before Augusta married Jonathan Littlefield in 1879 so at this point I don't know who Maud's father was. Again, thanks so much for the help. I'm out here on the West coast and as much as I'd like, a research trip wouldn't be feasible at this time. I sure do appreciate the assistance.
