Hello List I am trying to help a friend who has a bit of a gap in her tree and it's some ancestors who emigrated to Boston MA from Cheshire, England. I expected to find them in the 1881 census in England but they do not appear and I am wondering if they had gone to Boston by then; they were in England in 1871. I have so little information so it may not be impossible to get help, but here goes Mary DEARNALEY born 1855 Hannah DEARNALEY 20 July 1857 Elizabeth DEARNALEY born 18 Sep 1862 it is possible Elizabeth married a KIRKPATRICK and we are fairly sure she settled in Boston but Mary and Hannah returned to the UK by 1886 Any help would be most appreciated.
