Hi, Gladys, A friend looked in the 1910 census and saw this man, who would have been a year too old...and also a "George W. Johnson", who would have been the right age, and had married for the second time. I am sending to the Massachusetts Archives for this second man's marriage record to see if he is the right one. This second man had been married for ten years,which would fit right in with the fact that my George's first wife nad died in 1900. Also, the second George worked in the shoe industry, which also is a fit with the occupation of "my" George. It is confusing to rely on the census, since in those days, information was taken from whoever answered the door, and hence was not always accurate. Thanks again.... Claudia
