Judy, Found this in the 1900.... I noted on the 1920 the AK birthplaces of the children, so tried Alaska. Also noted that James Jr.'s birthiplace on the 1920 was DC, on 1900 was WA, the enum may have gotten the state of Washington mixed up with Washington DC. This Alaska census image is formatted a little differently than the other states...
