Sir Family history tells us that Joseph Donovan was a Judge in Boston during the 1900s. He was a grandson of an Irish immigrant who arrive in Boston in 1860. I think he was the son of John Donovan, Charleston (1856 to about 1920), who was the son of Edward Donovan and Mary Powers, who lived in Saugus MA. The reason for the search is the bicentennial of Dr John O'Donovan, LLD, MRIA, who was an eminent Irish scholar in the early 1800s. As family members we are trying to organise a celebration of his birth, and are trying to contact various branches of the family. Any help in trying to track down Joseph, or his family would be greatfully received. Regards Deirdre Doolan (nee O'Donovan) Cork Ireland d_doolan@eircom.net
