I would appreciate a lookup in the 1880 census for Boston for William Green, a tailor he possibly was living at 77 Prince St., Boston (that's his address in 1881 thanks, Charles
Charles- The 1880 census on Family search lists three William Greens as tailors living in Boston - there are no street addresses. Hi Charles, An FYI for you is that in 1900 there were ..32.. William GREEN's living in Boston. I checked the 1870 census, and there were ..12.. William GREEN's living in Boston. But, one is a tailor. The couple is William and Kate GREEN with 5 children. This census does not offer street names. With the 1870 census offering the age of 39 for William, I went back to the 1900 census, and found a William, Age 68/69, ..and this William was a Tailor. But .. this William had a wife, Mary, and a daughter, Bridget, and they had been married for 45 years. Mary had 13 children, but 8 lived. (Lived on Bow St.) Another William GREEN, Age 70, in 1900, was a Tailor. He and possibly adult-children lived on K Street. Hope this helps a little.
