I'm trying to find out if my Hagerty ancestors arrived in Boston before 1850. The family would eventually settle in Lewiston, ME in the mid 1850s. I'm looking for a Patrick and Mary Haggerty, sons John, Thomas, Denis, Daniel and at least one sister Mary, there was supposedly 10 children, but I only know for sure of the 5 I've listed. If Patrick survived the famine he would be in his early to mid fifties, wife Mary about 48, sons and daughter in their early to mid 20s except Daniel who would be only about 7.
