He was supposedly born in VT, I believe January 1857, and married Magdalena A. Gardner (supposedly born in Boston 1869). They settled in, raised their family, and died in Worcester. As they didn't start their family until 1890, I have not been able to locate either of them in the 1880 census. Any chance you would check both MA and VT censuses for me? Magdalena's parents' names are believed to be James H. and Ellen (or Helen) Gardner. According to Magdalena's death certificate, both parents were born in Boston.
